From Recruitment to Innovation: Highlights from the Care Management Show 2024

On November 29, 2024, All Care had the pleasure of attending the Care Management Show 2024 at ExCeL London. This prestigious event is one of the largest gatherings in the care sector, bringing together over 3,000 attendees, 150 exhibitors, and 35 expert speakers to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in care management.

A Day Packed with Insights

The conference featured a comprehensive programme with sessions covering a wide range of topics crucial to our industry. Here are some highlights from our attendees:

Technology and Innovation:
The session titled ‘Digitising for Success: Leveraging Technology to Achieve Organisational Goals’ was particularly enlightening. This talk delved into how care organisations can harness digital tools to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and achieve strategic goals. The speakers discussed various technologies, including electronic health records, telehealth, and care management software, and provided case studies demonstrating successful digital transformations in the care sector.

Recruitment and Retention:
One of the key sessions, ‘Is Recruitment and Retention Improving Under Labour?’, explored the current landscape of recruitment and retention in the care sector under the new Labour government. The discussion highlighted the government’s initiatives to improve working conditions, increase funding, and support workforce development. The session provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in attracting and retaining talent in the care industry.

Skills and Training:
Another impactful session was ‘The Life-Changing Power of Values-Based Recruitment’, which focused on the importance of aligning recruitment practices with the core values of the organisation. The speakers shared practical tools and strategies for implementing values-based recruitment, emphasising how this approach can lead to higher employee engagement, better job satisfaction, and improved care outcomes.

Networking and Future Plans

Our team found the event to be incredibly valuable, providing practical solutions that we are eager to implement at All Care. The networking opportunities were also fantastic, allowing us to connect with industry leaders and peers to share best practices and innovative ideas.

We look forward to integrating the knowledge gained from the Care Management Show into our operations to continue improving the quality of care we provide.
