Supporting BBC Children in Need: How All Care Made a Difference

At All Care, we’re committed to not only providing exceptional care but also to making a positive impact on our community. This year, we proudly took part in BBC Children in Need, a beloved charity campaign known for transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young people across the UK. Thanks to the enthusiastic involvement of our staff in Hampshire and Southampton, we were able to raise a combined total of £133.44, contributing to the mission of creating brighter futures for children in need.

A Look at Our Fundraising Efforts

Our Extra Care team in Hampshire went all out, organising activities that showcased their creativity and dedication, raising £68.94. Staff members collaborated to create a fun, engaging environment that motivated both team members and the community to contribute generously. Every pound raised through this effort will go toward funding essential programmes that support children’s well-being.

Over at our Southampton office, we hosted a Pyjama Day, where staff donned their cosiest nightwear to spread cheer and encourage donations. This simple yet effective initiative not only brought smiles to everyone’s faces but also highlighted the power of small contributions. By turning a fun, light-hearted activity into a fundraising event, we successfully raised £64.50.

Why BBC Children in Need Matters

BBC Children in Need has a profound impact on the lives of children facing challenges such as poverty, disability, or illness. Every donation helps fund local charities and projects that provide essential services like counselling, educational support, and recreational activities. In 2023 alone, BBC Children in Need supported over 2,500 projects, making a tangible difference in communities across the UK.

By participating, we’re not just raising money—we’re helping to ensure that children who face adversity have access to the support they need to thrive.

How the Funds Make a Difference

Donation Amount Impact Example

  • £5 Provides snacks for a youth group for one session, helping to build friendships and community.
  • £25 Covers the cost of an hour-long counselling session for a child struggling with mental health.
  • £50 Funds a day trip for a group of young carers, giving them a much-needed break from their responsibilities.

Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a role in creating positive change for children in need.
