From Care Assistant to Leadership
When Andreea moved from Romania to the UK, she brought with her a strong desire to care for others and build a meaningful career. She joined All Care in May 2015 as a Care Assistant and quickly became known for her empathy, work ethic, and commitment to learning. By 2017 she had progressed within the team, and by May 2018 she stepped into her first leadership role as a Supervisor.
Her development continued steadily. In March 2019 Andreea became Head of Supervisors, and by November 2021 she was leading supervisors across seven extra care schemes across Oxford. In January 2023 she moved into a regional position as Regional Quality Manager, before taking on her current role as Registered Manager for the Basingstoke branch in January 2024.
Mentorship & Development
Throughout her journey, Andreea has benefited from strong mentorship and support. She credits leaders such as Sue Langridge and Tarin Reidy for helping shape her confidence and broadening her understanding of the sector. Andreea remains passionate about creating a transparent working environment and supporting every member of the team to grow and develop. Positive feedback has been one of the highlights of her career, especially when service users share how valued and supported they feel.
Training, Qualifications & Academic Ambition
Andreea has completed an impressive range of training along the way, including NVQ Levels 2, 3 and 5, achieving Distinction for Level 5, funded through All Care. She has also completed Level 3 Food Safety, IOSH Health & Safety training, and became a Mental Health First Aider in 2024.
As her ambitions continue, Andreea has plans to progress to NVQ Level 7 while studying Global Business Management at university. With a particular interest in data, spreadsheets and analysis, Andreea leverages this focus to strengthen quality and performance in her service. Andreea’s story reflects the power of dedication, opportunity and supportive leadership. From a Care Assistant to a Registered Manager, Andreea has built a career defined by resilience, compassion and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed and All Care is proud to be part of her journey.
