All Care Launches Christmas Campaign to Combat Loneliness Later in Life

  • Loneliness later in life is a growing crisis, with research from Age UK showing prolonged isolation can increase dementia risk by 25%
  • ‘Together Through Care’ delivered gifts and personal messages to remind service users that care is about connection, dignity, and belonging
  • Over 400 service users across the South were touched by All Care’s campaign

Loneliness among older adults is a growing concern, with research from Age UK showing that prolonged isolation can increase the risk of dementia by 25%.

Many older people spend days without social contact, and for some, Christmas Day passes without a single phone call. Leading care provider, All Care is determined to change that narrative one visit at a time.

This festive season, local All Care branches across the south are joining under the initiative “Together Through Care”, delivering gifts and heartfelt messages to service users across the South to remind them: You are not alone.

On the Isle of Wight, Registered Manager Claire Martin personally hand-delivered gifts to service users across the island, ensuring that every individual felt remembered and cared for during the holidays.

The impact of this initiative was deeply felt by service users, with one recipient sharing:

Thank you so much for the lovely gesture, you have no idea what this means to me, especially as my mother recently passed away and this is the first Christmas on my own.”

All Care is also asking staff and families to join them in supporting Age UK, encouraging donations to provide direct help to those who need it most.

This regional effort reflects All Care’s commitment to social value and community engagement, reinforcing its role as a leader in compassionate care.
